There’s an old, but valid saying, “You’ll never work a day in your life if you love what you do...”   I love taking pictures, I’ve been doing this for a long time and it never feels like work - always a challenge, always learning, but never work.

Finding a photographer is easy, but finding a photographer who is interested in you, your needs and getting the perfect shot, rather than a paycheck, is the key to your ultimate satisfaction. 

THE CONSULTATION

My approach is a unique and tailored photographic experience.  I feel it is necessary to meet with my clients before the shoot so I can get to know them, find out what their interests are, what shots they want and what is important to them.   Most people feel they are not photogenic - but, anyone can take a good picture if they feel comfortable with their photographer. 

THE PHOTO SHOOT

Instead of booking an hour photo shoot and rushing the moment, I spend at least 2-3 hours with my clients, sometimes more, especially at weddings.  I allow as many changes of clothing as you want and unlimited poses.  I direct the shots, but as the client become more comfortable, I find them posing without direction, it’s great!  It is important to work as a team, because ultimately, YOU need to be happy with your pictures and shoot.  I guarantee this will be the funnest experience you’ll ever have taking pictures!

YOUR PHOTOS

I take anywhere from 25-600 digital pictures during a shoot, depending on the package you choose and location(s).  I edit the photos on the same day and then meet with you the following day - YES, you will get your photos the next day!  I don’t make prints because I feel you should be allowed to choose the photos YOU want.  This means, with your photo shoot package, you buy the copyrights to your pictures.  You can print as many as you want and whatever photos you want at the highest quality digital photo resolution.  All clients will be asked to sign a photo release form so I can use your photos in all media to promote TEP.  And I will give you a release so you can print your photos without issue.

WEDDINGS: 

I thought this would be the perfect addition for my love of shooting new and different situations and it was.  The emotion and joy at a wedding cannot be staged or replaced - you have to capture the moment or it is gone forever - and I love a challenge.  I also thought it would add a special touch to capture the hours just before the event... the bride putting on her make up, her bride’s maids and maid of honor helping her with her gown...irreplaceable moments.  Look at the pricing sheet for your option of wedding packages and check out the “Weddings” gallery.
